It is a table, not a picture of one
Most free Word canvases are a screenshot pasted into a document: you can move it, and that is all. This one is a real Word table — one 5×2 grid with merged cells for the true canvas geometry, and your notes as ordinary paragraphs inside the cells, each one shaded in the colour you gave it here. Click into a cell in Word and type.
The section is landscape so the nine blocks keep their proportions on A4, and the file uses the document's own default fonts, so it picks up your organisation's template instead of fighting it.

Type in the cells
Each block is one cell. Put each idea on its own line — a paragraph per sticky note. - 2
Recolour a note
Click the note’s paragraph, then Home → Shading. Note colour is paragraph shading, so it moves with the note. - 3
Let a block grow
Rows carry a minimum height, not a fixed one, so a long block pushes its row taller instead of clipping. - 4
Keep it on one page
Layout → Orientation stays Landscape. If the table spills, shrink the body font a point rather than paginating.

Questions about the Word version
Any version that reads .docx: Word 2007 and later on Windows and Mac, Word on the web, and Word for iPad and Android. LibreOffice Writer, Apple Pages and Google Docs open it too, though shading and merged cells can render slightly differently outside Word.
In Word, yes — the block titles are text in the header row of each cell. On this page they are fixed, because the nine blocks and their arrangement are the Business Model Canvas specification.
A Business Model Canvas is five columns wide. On a portrait page the columns end up around 30mm each, which is too narrow to read. The section is set to landscape so the file matches the shape of the canvas.
